Dasiko Horio, Haidou, Xanthi,Greece | April 8, 2026

The ROUT Foundation is pleased to announce that on Friday, May 8, 2026, registration opens for the 16th anniversary ROUT CLASSIC 100 miles, the oldest 100-mile race in Greece and the third oldest in Europe.

The route covers 182 kilometers with a total positive elevation gain of +9,000 meters and a 46-hour time limit, traversing the isolated and mythical Rodopi Mountains. It is the only race that finishes on an ascent, remaining faithful to the spirit of trial and transcendence.

The ROUT CLASSIC remains dedicated to the authentic tradition of mountain trail ultras born in the USA. The event’s philosophy aligns with legendary races such as the WS 100 (Western States), the Hardrock 100, and the HURT 100 (Hawaiian Ultra Running Team’s Trail), emphasizing essential support at aid stations and the unique spirit of service provided by its volunteers, the true soul of the race.
